ชาวต่างชาติเมื่อได้รับวีซ่า 1 ปี สำหรับพำนักอยู่ในประเทศไทย หากท่านไม่เดินทางออกนอกประเทศในทุกๆ 90 วันท่านจำเป็นต้องไปรายงานตัวที่สำนักงานตรวจคนเข้าเมือง ท่านสามารถไปรายงานที่ไหนก็ได้ ตามแต่สะดวก และใกล้เคียงกับที่พำนักของท่านหรือมอบอำนาจให้ผู้อื่นไปรายงานตัวแทนได้หากท่านไม่สะดวกในการเดินทางไปรายงานตัวในวันดังกล่าวท่านสามารถรายงานตัวล่วงหน้าได้1สัปดาห์ก่อนถึงวันที่ทางสำนักงานตรวจตนเข้าเมืองกำหนดให้รายงานตัว
กรณีหากท่านต้องเดินทางออกนอกประเทศในช่วงเวลาที่ตรงกับวันรายงานตัวของท่าน ท่านไม่จำเป็นต้องไปรายงานตัว แต่เมื่อท่านเดินทางกลับเข้ามาในราชอาณาจักรอีกครั้ง ให้ท่านนับไปอีก 90 วัน แล้วท่านค่อยไปรายงานตัวในครั้งต่อไป หากท่านไม่ได้ไปรายงานตัวในวันที่ทางสำนักงานตำรวจแห่งชาติกำหนด ท่านต้องเสียค่าปรับตามอัตราวันเวลาท่านเลยกำหนด

Retirement Visa NON-IMMIGRANT O
Retirement Visa is applicable for the up 50-year-old aliens who propose to live in Thailand. The required documents are the financial statement of Saving Account or Fixed Deposit Account not less than 800,000 THB. or having salary not less than 65,000 THB. and also the total salary of 12 months is not less than 800,000 THB. to be used for the application at Royal Thai Police, Immigration Bureau. The permission of this Visa will be valid for 1 year. Moreover, the aliens with Multiple Non-Immigrant Visa don’t need to apply for Re-Entry Permit due to when you travel abroad, you will get the re-entry permit for 90 days.

วีซ่าแต่งงาน หรือวีซ่าติดตามสามี หรือ ภรรยา ชาวไทย สำหรับชาวต่างชาติที่จดทะเบียนสมรสกับชาวไทยและต้องการพำนักอยู่ในการเทศไทย วีซ่าประเภทนี่สามารถอยู่ประเทศไทยได้เป็นเวลา 1 ปี และจะต้องต่อวีซ่าทุกๆปี ในทุกๆ 90 วัน จะต้องไปรายงานตัวที่ ต.ม. หากต้องการเดินทางออกนอกประเทศจะต้องทำ Re-Entry ทุกครั้ง เพื่อรักษาสิทธิ์หลังจากกลับมาจากต่างประเทศ หากไม่ทำ Re-Entry ก่อนเดินทางออกนอกประเทศ วีซ่าของท่านจะถูกยกเลิกโดยอัตโนมัติ วีซ่าประเภทนี้ไม่สามารถทำงานในประเทศไทยได้

This type of visa is issued to applicants who wish to study, attend seminar, training session, or internship in Thailand.
• Passport or travel document with validity not less than 6 months
• Visa application form completely filled out
• Recent (4 x 6 cm.) photograph of the applicant
• Recommendation letter addressed to the Consulate
• Letter of acceptance from the concerned academic institute/organisation
• For those wishing to study in a Private institution, an official letter from the Ministry of Education of Thailand, or other sub-authorities concerned, approving the enrolment of foreign students and a copy of registration certificate of the concerned academic institute are required
• Academic record and the Student ID (if currently studying)
• For those wishing to attend seminar, or training session, or internship, a recommendation letter from the concerned organisation addressed to the Consulate is also required
• Consular officers reserve the rights to request additional documents as deemed necessary
The validity of a visa is 3 months.
Holder of this type of visa is entitled to stay in Thailand for a maximum period of 90 days. He or she may apply for an extension of stay at the Office of the Immigration Bureau and may be granted such extension for a period of one year from the date of first entry into Thailand.

• Recent( 2”x2”) photograph of the applicant (photocopy or photo taken from Photostat or from vending machine will not be accepted)
According to the Interior Ministerial Announcements dated 1 October B.E. 2545 (2002), 20 December B.E. 2545 (2002), 18 October B.E. 2547 (2004), 6 May B.E. 2548 (2005), and 23 June 2554 (2011), passport holders from 48 countries and 1 special administrative region
Hong Kong SAR - are not required to obtain a visa when entering Thailand for tourism purposes and will be permitted to stay in the Kingdom for a period of not exceeding 30 days on each visit. If such foreigners enter the Kingdom at the immigration checkpoints which border neighboring countries, they will be allowed to stay for 15 days each time, except US, UK. Canadian, French, German, Italian, Japanese and Malaysian nationals whose granted period of stay will not exceed 30 days each time.
Please note that Tourist Visa Exemption does not apply to foreigners holding Travel Document for Aliens issued by these countries.
Foreigners entering Thailand under the Tourist Visa Exemption category must possess adequate finances for the duration of stay in Thailand (i.e., cash 10,000 Baht per person and 20,000 Baht per family).
(****)Thailand holds bilateral agreements on visa exemption for holders of diplomatic, official and ordinary passports for a visit of not exceeding 90 days with Brazil, the Republic of Korea and Peru. Therefore, nationals of these 3 countries are exempted from visa requirements and are permitted to enter and stay in Thailand for a period of not exceeding 90 days.
Non-Immigrant Visa "B" in Thai Business
Foreigners applying for a job or opening a business will require a Thai business visa. This can be best applied for before coming to Thailand. In addition, this type of visa can be extended to a long term visa which can be done either inside or outside the Kingdom of Thailand.
Applicants are advised to apply for their visa either by mail or in person at the Royal Thai embassy or consulate in their home country.
This type of visa is issued to applicants who wish to enter the Kingdom to conduct business.
• Passport or travel document with validity not less than 6 months
• Visa application form completely filled out
• Recent (4 x 6 cm.) photograph of the applicant
• Letter from the applicant’s company indicating the applicant’s position, length of employment, salary and purpose of visit(s) to Thailand.
• Documents showing correspondence with business partners in Thailand.
• Evidence of financial status in the case where the applicant is self-employed.
• Letter of invitation from trading or associated partners/companies in Thailand.
• Corporate documents of associated partners/companies in Thailand such as:
1) business registration and business license
2) list of shareholders
3) company profile
4) details of business operation
5) map indicating location of the company
6) balance sheet, statement of Income Tax and Business Tax
(Por Ngor Dor 50 and Por Ngor Dor 30) of the latest year
7) value-added tax registration (Por Por 20)
• Copies of company documents must be signed by the Board of Directors or authorised managing director and affix seal of company.

The validity of a visa is 3 months for Single Entry Visa and 1 year for Multiple Entries Visa
Holder of this type of visa with single entry is entitled to stay in Thailand for a maximum period of 90 days. He or she may apply for an extension of stay at the Office of the Immigration Bureau and may be granted such extension for a period of one year from the date of first entry into Thailand.
Holder of multiple-entry visa is entitled to stay in Thailand for a maximum period of 90 days per each entry.
Nationals of certain countries are required to apply for a visa only at the Thai Embassy or Consulate-General in their home/residence country or at the designated Thai Embassy. Therefore, travellers are adivised to contact the nearest Thai Embassy or Consulate-General to find out where they may apply for a visa to Thailand before departure.
• Passport or travel document with validity not less than 6 months

• Company or school's guarantee letter addressed to the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Ho Chi Minh City stating that the applicant is spouse or family members of those working or studying in Thailand

• Evidence of educational qualification such as diplomas or teaching certificates.
• School license or business registration, list of shareholders and school profile.
• Applicant’s resume.
• Police certificate verifying that applicant has no criminal record or equivalents or letter issued by authorised agencies in applicant’s country. (The requirement of the submission of such police certificate is optional. The applicant must submit it if consular officer requests he/she to do so. This requirement is effective as from May 2007)

• Foreign citizens who hold a Transit Visa (“TS”) or Tourist Visa (“TR”) and wish to engage in business activities in Thailand may apply for a change of type of visa (e.g., from Tourist Visa to Non-Immigrant Visa) at the Office of the Immigration Bureau Office located at Government

• An alien who receives a Non-Immigrant visa can work in Thailand once he or she is being granted a work permit. An alien in violation of the Immigration Act B.E. 2522 (1979) concerning taking up employment without work permit or the Royal Decree B.E. 2522 (1979) concerning holding employment in certain restricted occupations and professions shall be prosecuted and imprisoned or fined, or shall face both penalties.

• Security deposit of THB 800,000 in a Thai Bank Account for 2 months prior to the visa application.
• Monthly income or pension of at least THB 65,000. An affidavit from the foreign embassy or consulate has to be obtained as proof of the income.
• Combination of the Thai bank account and yearly income with the total of 800,000 THB.
Supporting documents as proof of the security deposit in a Thai bank are as follows:• Updated bank book or passbook.
• Bank letter stating that the money had been deposited to the account from an oversea source for not less than 2 months.
• Police Clearance
• Medical Certificate
** These are not usually required if the visa application is submitted inside Thailand, though there are rare cases, however, when an official from the Thai embassy or consulate may ask for them before issuance of the visa.The application for the Thai retirement visa can be processed either in your country of residency or in Thailand.
All necessary documents stated above must be submitted to the Thai embassy or consulate in your country.
Note : The foreigner on a visa exemption stamp or a tourist visa can still apply for a retirement visa given that the foreigner has already met the requirements for the non-immigrant O visa and for the one year extension visa applications. This can be done at the immigration office in Thailand.
